Prerequisites: Take PSY-150 This course covers the particular needs and behaviors of the maturing adult. Emphasis is placed on psychosocial processes; biological and intellectual aspects of aging; adjustments to retirement, dying, bereavement; and the stereotypes and misconceptions concerning the elderly. Upon completion, students should be able to show an understanding of the psychological factors related to the aging process. (S13106)
