HIS 223 - African-American Hist II

This course covers African American history from the Civil War to the present. Topics include Reconstruction, the Jim Crow era, urbanization, the Harlem Renaissance, the Civil Rights movement, and the philosophies of major African-American leaders. Upon completion, students should be able to analyze significant political, socioeconomic, and cultural developments in African-American history since the Civil War. (S11488)
