This course provides a study of the medium of film with a focus on the historical impact and the various literary genres of movies. Emphasis is placed on an appreciation of film as a form of literature which demonstrates various elements of fiction (character, setting, theme, etc.). Upon completion, students should be able to analyze film critically in various literary contexts. (S21137)
