This course provides practical applications of
archaeological methods. Emphasis is placed on
basic archaeological methods and techniques
required in site surveys, site classification,
excavation, recording, processing, presentation,
chronometry, and analysis of materials. Upon
completion, students should be able to participate
in applying archaeological methods and techniques
to the excavation of a specific site.
