This course explores Francophone culture through intensive study on campus and field experience in a host country or area. Topics include an overview of linguistic, historical, geographical, sociopolitical, economic, and/or artistic concerns of the area visited. Upon completion, students should be able to exhibit first-hand knowledge of issues pertinent to the host area and demonstrate an understanding of cultural differences. (S10918)
