Homegrown Foods and Fun(ds)


Have access to fresh, nutritious, and local food anywhere you live by growing your own! In this class you will learn about sustainable farming techniques, innovative gardening strategies, and local tricks of the trade. Growing your own food helps you take responsibility for your health, shows respect for the planet, and can even produce a profit. Explore farm design, seeds and breeds, composting, and even raising chickens for beginners. This introductory course is for the urban/suburban/rural homesteader with an entrepreneurial spirit.
